Dear friends, family and supporters, I hope this note finds you well and that you will not disregard this very urgent message. The community is calling upon your support.
MORNING CUP OF MOTIVATION: Let's make a HABIT to invest in ourselves. It is the way we qualify ourselves towards increase. Invest in yourself. "The valuable things in life are put on a higher shelf (on purpose) so you can't get to them until YOU qualify. If you want the things on the higher shelf you've got to STAND on the books you read. Every book you read, you get to stand a little higher so you can get the things on the higher shelf." (Jim Rohn).
I recently had to go shopping for some new clothes as our family was having photos taken on the beach. Yes, those coordinated outfits that supposedly make the family photos that much more unified...or frustrating when shopping on short notice with few choices!
A common question when it comes to weight training is “How do I select the proper weight?” Although the amount of weight will vary from person to person, the feeling you experience will be similar. A good starting point is two sets of 12 repetitions (resting 30-60 seconds in between sets). The 12th repetition should be the last one you can do with proper form. If you cannot reach 12 without a significant struggle, the weight is too heavy. If you can continue past 12 without a problem, the weight is too light.

Ok, I am 13 weeks out until the contest. I don’t know who this Mrs. Dash is, but her seasonings are freaking awesome! I have 3 different flavors, and they add zest and pep to my tuna, chicken, ground turkey and fish. Thank goodness, because that tuna looks pretty bland on a rice cake all alone.
When conditions change, some people become immobilized by worry. Other people complain. Still others make the changing conditions into an excuse for not taking action. What do successful people do when conditions change? Successful people adapt. That’s what makes them consistently successful
Today is April 15, the day dreaded by many, if only on principle. That date was established in 1955, and it is hard to imagine that there would be anybody who does not know of it. This brings me to my subject of this blog: time management and its sibling stress management.
