If you asked me when I was a little girl if I thought I'd be a personal trainer the answer would be absolutely not. Not because I could care less what the human body could do or because I hate working out, but because my heart was set on becoming a world famous writer.
Exercise doesn't have to be fast, intense movement that makes you sweat profusely. The longer and faster you exercise doesn't always mean better results. While it is true that cardio-respiratory fitness (exercises like walking, running, or cycling) is essential in improving the health of your heart, lungs, and circulatory system; you must not forget the importance of muscular strength and its ability to maximize your workout to make you look and feel better.
Do you look the same as you did a year ago? Have you set some goals and accomplished them? Or, are you just doing the same old thing expecting some miraculous transformation? I’ve worked in a lot of commercial gyms and I still see the majority of women wasting their time in the gym, looking the same as they did the year before.

This exercise movement is an advanced exercise and you should make sure that your client does not attempt this exercise until they have been able to perform a Dumbbell Chest Fly movement on a bench first (for a few weeks) and perfected the proper ROM/Movement pattern before advancing to the Standing Cable Chest Fly.
