Last week was an "A" type person's nightmare. Not that I consider myself an A type person but many of those around me do so when their life gets thrown out of whack, so does mine. Shortened weeks are always a little bit hectic and with the Labor Day holiday, Tuesday felt like Monday which meant people didn't want to get moving until Wednesday when the week was half over already.
I am reining it in! My eating was out of control over the weekend. Family in town and I went on a binge. Now I have to start back on the low carb, lots of greens and veggies. Protein and working harder to burn, baby, burn it off! Can't wait to get started!
The ONLY diet I am on these days is a News Diet. With today’s 24/7 news spin-cycle networks have to find ways to keep audiences tuned in. They do this by sensationalizing and dramatizing events which play on our emotions. Notice how they build up the intensity just before a commercial break so you will stay tuned? Since the invention of the DVR, networks have to take advantage of every opportunity to get advertising revenue and the news is the ONE show many do not record and therefore cannot fast forward through advertisements.

Fall is, most definitely, my favorite time of year. The smell of fall in the air, the beautiful colors of the leaves changing, cooler weather, less bugs, oysters back in season, but most importantly(you probably guessed it), College Football!!!
