How can parents of young children make time for exercise?

By Philip Carpenter Lee
Parents of young children may find it difficult to make time for exercise.  In some cases, they feel guilty when they take time for themselves.  In other cases, they feel overwhelmed and that they have no time for anything let alone exercise. The guilty parent needs to understand that to be a good parent you have to be healthy.  When you are taking time for yourself in the form or sleep, exercise, a massage, or a night out with friends, you are becoming a better parent.

By Pauline Brown
Hello to all you fitness professionals.  My husband and I met in Japan because of the 9-11 crisis.  We have a beautiful Tribute to 9-11 motorcylcle that we are headed to New York with for the 10th year anniversary.  We hope that people never forget the horrible incident.  We don't believe people should relive the horror but we don't believe people should forget either!!!!!

Bonita High Takes The Prize...

By Sharon Johnson-May
Living in a small town, there are certain traditions that bring people together. In La Verne, there is a football game each year where our beloved Bonita High School Bearcats play cross town rivals, the San Dimas Saints, for the coveted Smudgepot. Last night was such a night with the Bearcats beating the Saints 40-20. Once again, Bonita takes the prize.
