Dont believe everything you think! Especially negative thoughts! Paying attention to what you think as you work out, eat or shower is powerful enough to shift your results in a very short amount of time. Your thoughts affect your mind, body and results more than anything else that you do, so why not simply start by noticing what you think about you?
Do a majority of the people you see use electronic devices and exercise equipment to help with their goals and managing aspects of their workout? Equipment can be great to help challenge the body, monitor exercise intensity, and the psychological sense that exercise equipment will help a person through the rigors of a workout.

Filling the lungs upon contraction helps bring oxygen to the working muscles. Breathing also helps regulate running rhythm during a marathon or endurance bike race for increased energy and a strong finish.

We may become irritable because our blood sugar drops when we are not eating often enough. Some of my favorite snacks include protein bars, string cheese, peanut butter crackers, and fresh fruit.
I feel like a kid in a candy store, giddy with all the different options that are available to me. I have a list of things I've been dying to try for a while from Zumba to P90X and CrossFit to running the trails with friends through WOOT (Women On Okinawa Trails). I plan on continuing to run a few 5ks and 10ks and have 3 triathlons planned into the year, including the TriChicks Triathlon in August. My oldest daughter, Abigail, will get to join me on that one as they have a TriKids Triathlon after the race. Gotta pass along that competitive spirit!!! I&
Ok.. its getting cold, its dark later and earlier.. the urge to stay in bed nice and warm is calling.. this is when it counts.. How many mornings have we woken up lately and thought it was so nice to be tucked in warm in bed... not wanting to get out... well... GET UP and GET WORKING:) I was trying to be mean, yet nice:) don't wait unitl the new year to make resolutions that may only last a few weeks.. Make those life changes NOW, when its hard.. when you want to stay in bed or don't feel like going out in the cold..
Today was my first day back to "normal" ...YIPPIE!! I love NORMAL, but you know what I love even more??? I love being OVER-THE-TOP, OUTSTANDING, OUTRAGEOUS, OPULENT, etc... I plan on being those things by the time I hit the streets of OMAHA on November 18th and 19th!! YEAH, that's right I'm BRINING MY "O" BODY!! BYOB baby!! It takes ON purpose effort to be my best
First and foremost, I want to apologize that it has been a while since I've thrown a QuickFit Tip out for you. I've been ridiculously busy lately, which is good I guess, but sometimes I tend to throw a little too much on my plate. When I get swamped I tend to put off things that I dub as "non-essentials", and unfortunately, sometimes exercise gets thrown into the mix as well.
