Should you stretch?Years ago, in gym class, stretching served as an introduction to the activity du jour. These days, people are discouraged from stretching cold muscles. Doing a light warm-up such as jogging in place for a few minutes before stretching increases blood flow to the muscles so that they're more easily extended.
Bioelectrical Impedance
What it is: Bioelectrical impedance is a weak electric signal that goes through the body to measure body composition. A small 500-800 micro-amp (50 kilohertz) signal measures the body's ability to conduct the current.
What it measures: These tests estimate a person’s body fat percentage.

This week in medicine they did a miraculous thing; they made a man a new trachea from his own stem cells. Not only that, they were able to transplant the grown windpipe with success. I feel very happy for this man and his family for his new chance at life. I do have some concerns with the growing trend in medicine to increasingly use technology to solve our health woes.
I was talking to my friend today that has been recovering from a really bad dog bite that made it so that she couldn't workout. She is now having problems getting motivated to work out again now that her dog bite is healed enough that she can exercise. I personally have found myself struggling with staying motivated from time to time. The following are a few things that I have found to help keep me going.
