My kids are gone!

By Michelle Berger
My kids are GONE!! My MIL drove them to MN yesterday...so it's just Travis, I and Cuji (our puppy) here in Arkansas for the next 11 days or so!!! I've not had a kid-less house for almost 12 years!  This is gonna rock!  The only bad part about it is that I have tons of work to do...my vacation will have to wait for when we go to Cancun next month!! I'm excited for that too!!

Modify is NOT a dirty word...

By Marcia Richardson
I have been involved in the fitness industry for over twenty-five years. I started teaching in my twenties. I was an athlete and already very fit.  Admittedly, I was focused on giving my class participants a good hard workout. I took it as a compliment when someone told me how sore they were after taking my class. What surprises me is, I don't think things are any different today. With all of the new information out there, instructors should know better.

Surefire path to great arms :)

By Michelle Carlson
Over the past month I have completely immersed myself in yoga. Keep reading, it gets good. I started my teaching as a yoga instructor and slowly lost my wasy from there, delving into anything I could wear spandex in. Over the course of the past 5+ years I have beat myself up teaching 20+ classes per week, most of which were kickboxing and weight training with the occasional step and cycling. All of these are good, but without proper cross training they can take their toll on the body. So I committed to 30 days of yoga 1-2 hours per day. And so it began....

Triathlon - Olympische afstand

By Jetty Bolland

Desk job getting you down?

By Kristal Bradshaw
We all know that it is hard to keep the weight off when you have a desk job. Sitting at a desk all day drains the energy right out of you. I know this first hand as I currently work as a tech support agent at a call center. I had the same job when I started my own weight loss journey. It is hard to get the energy to get up and moving and to keep the pounds off once you have lost them. There are always fatty foods there to tempt you. The following are some tips to resist the fatty foods and to keep the energy going throughout the day. Keeping the energy going:
