Stop draining your energy. Use your energy! Draining your mental energy is easily by always comparing yourself with others. Comparing yourself with others will only give you two results. One is you feel proud when you are above that person and the second is you feel jealous and intimidated when you are below that person. Both results are negative emotions and they do nothing but harm your emotional wellness.

I was at H-back (tail back, 3 back), Free Saftey and outside linebacker today. Monday is here and it is time to recalculate! The weekend is the toughest part of the week for me to stay on track with caloric intake. This was a celebration weekend with my daughter graduating from college. We celebrated and I threw caution to the wind, or should I say calories to the wind! But now I start over again, fruits, vegetables and no sugar! Water, water, water! I find that I feel sluggish and low on energy on most Monday's. I know it is due to my glucose spike with the sugar ingestion over the weekend.
It keeps make me wondering why people desperately eat „foods” which is not good for them. Ok, there is a percentage from them who not awared of the negative effects of fast food but the majority – I firmly believe – are well awared about the negative effects.
Did you know that circle trainings could be very useful for combat athletes (boxing, tae kwon do, kick boxing, etc.) in off season because with that kind of training one can perform lots of exercises within short time frame?Also, that type of pressure is pretty similar to the bouts which is one more reason to apply in martial artists’ off season regime.
