Why the fast food chains are the sworn enemies of health and vigor?

By Pete Steel
It keeps make me wondering why people desperately eat „foods” which is not good for them. Ok, there is a percentage from them who not awared of the negative effects of fast food but the majority – I firmly believe – are well awared about the negative effects.

Daily tip:

By Pete Steel
Did you know that circle trainings could be very useful for combat athletes (boxing, tae kwon do, kick boxing, etc.) in off season because with that kind of training one can perform lots of exercises within short time frame? Also, that type of pressure is pretty similar to the bouts which is one more reason to apply in martial artists’ off season regime.

True Health

By Mason City Tai Chi~Chi Kung~Kung Fu LLC/Mason City Wellness Center LLC
What would life be like if, through True Effort, one would gather a skill in which one enjoys a True Appreciation for the Miracle of the Moment...each moment (or at least most moments)? What could be more healthful?

Went shopping for Running Shoes....

By Victoria Clark
My question is, do we really need to get a new pair of running shoes because we are told we should only run "so many miles" before our shoes go "bad". I don't know how I feel about this considering I have logged many (and I mean many) miles in my running shoes and they seem fine....They fit me perfectly, no blisters, no rubbing, good air flow, good support, so should I ditch them and get a new $150 pair "just cuz"?

TRX Training and Golf Fitness Trainer

By Rosanne Juergens
I just love the TRX suspension training system that we have at Buck and Goodson Recreation Centers! Double straps made of webbing are suspended from high up on the wall, and various hand and foot holds make body weight resistance exercises very challenging.

Gym Etiquette

By William Turner
Here it is well over the turn of the century and I find myself in the annoying position to have to address such a topic.  Is it me or have people become way to over zealous in the gym? Has gym etiquette evaporated into the air ducts behind the gym walls? I know the blood and testosterone is flowing and heart rates are up but is it really necessary to throw weights, be rude or inconsiderate? Who are these people? You'd think they were training for the Olympics, with all the grunting and groaning going on.
