So yes I am turning 30! I will miss my 20s and must admit turning 30 is a bit scary, but hey, can't do anything about it, so why not embrace it. I remember back when I was 18 and I thought I was so mature and grown up.... Now that I am heading into my 30s I realize I STILL have so much to learn and I am excited to see what my future holds.
Things I would love to accomplish in my future would be owning my own gym or restaurant/ cafe... so I can feed the masses wonderful food and then help them burn it off!
MRI on Monday...knee has its good days and not so good days, can't wait to find out what is wrong and what I am in for to correct the problem! Yesterday I did run a slow 3.6 miles, but I was also on my feet for a constant 8 hours, baking for our church hospitality, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, 5-6 loads of laundry. That is exercise and the knee felt good the whole time (go figure). No wonder how people keep pushing themselves with a similar type of injury.
I have a new small group training class up and running @ the Racquet Club of Concord. All fitness levels welcome.

Fewer calories and more nutrition, even in brownies.....
Pureeing vegetables and then slipping them into food where they'll be undetectable — that's a sneaky technique parents have been using on picky kids for ages. But researchers at Pennsylvania State University decided to try it on a group of adults to see whether it could help them cut calories and lose weight.
It worked — even better than the researchers expected.

Be warned: Those around you require a sense of humor“
Creative Travel: Tip-toe like a ballerina, skip and gallop like a cowboy, move in slow motion, or shrink down and move as if the ceiling is low. Play this with your kids while you run errands or when walking to and from offices at work.
Yesterday I did a mini class for my daughter's kindergarten class. Fourteen kids-and 20 minutes-didn't think much about them remembering anything. Got home and got two emails from parents wanting to know more about Zumba and Zumbatomic.....the kids mentioned the "sleepy leg" step to their parents....ooh they remembered something!
