We all know at times it can be so challenging to eat well. There are so many distractions and once we start down a path that little voice in our head tells us "Just this once...tomorrow I will be better". Than tomorrow comes and they same little voice tells us the same thing! I just did that with Girl Scout cookies. "I will only have one serving...okay maybe just eat what is left than I would be tempted!" We all do it.
Vacation is over, and it is back to work. Unfortunately, I always ruin that last day of vacation because I am sad that it is over and I must get back to work. But, once I get back into the swing of things, it really isn’t that bad. I need to remember that“note to self!
It is so important to have a job you love and that you enjoy doing. Sometimes we aren’t given a choice of what work is available to us, but if you can find something that you find passion in doing and that gives you a sense of fulfillment regardless of the paycheck then life is good!

Yesterday I was vacuuming with an upright vacuum and flames (yes flames) and sparks were coming out of the connection of the plug wire to the vacuum. I had to use our central vacuum, which happens to be close to 27 years old. Well a 5 minute upright is equivalent to a 15-20 minute central...the latter may take longer but I am drenched right now and I only done half the house!
Aaah, those New Year Resolution people, yes, they want to lose weight, but to get there you need to know what motivates you to achieve your goal. You need to start small, like moderate food intake and increase exercise to lose 1-2 pounds in a week, then 6-8 pounds a month, then readjust your goal plan to eat more healthy foods and keep your exercise regime the same....slow and steady gets results!

The other day in one of my Weightloss Programs, a client mentioned this new machine that she wanted to try. She explained that "that you sit in it and it "shakes" you up a bit and "shakes" the fat off of you." My response to that was "Irina, being Fit is a Lifetsyle, not something you do once every 6 months and then your good for awhile."

March 12- I sure had a great time seeing some familiar faces and many new ones at the Annual Surf City Women's Expo today. It inspires me to meet new people who share my passion for health and fitness. I have included many of you in my monthly newsletter that will start in April. I hope you enjoy it and we can meet again.
