I have re-injured my knee. I am concerned that there is something more wrong with it than just resting will heal. I wasn't doing anything crazy - just walking in the office at work and I felt something weird. That was one of my normal days off from working out and the next day felt fine. Decided to do a work out that day - 3 sets of Tabata and some weights. The next day I was doing OK until I walked down stairs and I got a sharp pain through my knee. Skipped my usual kickboxing workout that night and iced it and I think it's worse.
I know I've only been at this a few months & although I see people are viewing these blogs I have yet to receive any feedback/comments/questions. I have no idea if the information I'm providing is helping you in any way...So, today I'm asking what do you want to know about living a healthy lifestyle? Exercise is for eveyone. Start with basic body movements. You have 600 muscles to move around to burn calories. Sit in a chair and stand up and sit back down 20 times. “Well, the other shoe is now on its way down. Jane fell a couple of weeks ago and broke her right hip, and the decision was that she would not have an x-ray. She has been confined to her bed (hospital bed) and cannot get up. Her nurse now comes every day and has suggested that we contact all of Jane’s friends and let them know her status.” (The individual’s name has been changed.)

Face Down Your Fitness Fears-- Whether you are walking into the gym for the first time, participating in a group fitness class, or competing in a 5k, you will more than likely feel scared. You are not alone. I know exactly how you feel! In June of this year, I came face to face with my own fitness fears while participating in a 100-mile cycling event. If you feel the least bit of fear, I encourage you to consider the following guidelines to help you combat your fears:
