Healthy Banana Bread-- great with some all natural nut butter or apple butter!
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups mashed bananas
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup raisins
2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 6 tbsp water
1. Preheat oven to 350*
2. Mix flaxseed with water. Stir and set until gooey. (This replaces eggs). **I buy flaxseeds then ground them in my food processor to save money. Or you can buy pre-ground flaxseed.
3. Mash bananas in bowl.
4. Add in all other ingredients.
5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
