Transform Your Heart…..Transform Your Health

“A tranquil heart is life to the body…”  from Proverbs 14:30

KNOW YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE- KNOW THE BEAUTIFUL

THE BEAUTIFUL CARRIES THE  HEART

THE HEART TRANSFORMED  IS A TRANQUIL HEART

A TRANQUIL HEART  IS A HEART FILLED WITH LOVE

LOVE  COMES FROM A

PURE HEART-GODLINESS GUARDED BY ENDURANCE

CLEAR CONSCIENCE-KNOWLEDGE APPLIED THRU SELF-CONTROL

SINCERE FAITH- GOODNESS ROOTED IN FAITH

THE RESULT IS FRUITS OF LOVE

FOR GOD, OTHERS, AND YOURSELF

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always

protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

s1 Corinthians 13:4-8

How to have a healthier brain…. “then what?”

After 21 years, and 70,000+ BRAIN IMAGING scans, (SPECT Scans that show how the brain functions), used to help understand and treat patients at the Amen Clinics, bestselling author, Daniel Amen, MD, in his 371 page book, Use your Brain, to Change Your Age, confirms:

“the bottom line of brain health can be summed up in four words:

AVOID BAD-DO GOOD”

He went on to state…

“Make good decisions.  Consistent, thoughtful, conscientious behavior is the number-one predictor of longevity.”

So in training our physical body, “the beautiful”, in the goal of physical longevity, Dr. Amen confirms, we must strive to make “good”, consistent decisions about its care.

God’s creation and Word teaches us that God is the source of all goodness, truth, purity, light and that if we want to do “Good” like our Creator , we need to follow His Way.

“all scripture is inspired of God and is profitable for teaching, rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that man may be complete, equipped for every GOOD work” 2 Timothy 3:10 CSB

KNOW GOoD-DO GOOD

In his book, Dr. Amen stated that we should always carry the “then what” question with us.   O.K....…  THEN WHAT?...after my physical body is done…

“train yourself in godliness, for the training of the body has a limited benefit but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” From 1 Timothy 4:7-8 CSB

So for the most beneficial training,  we need to strive to not just DO but BE…

KNOW GOoD stive to BE GOoDLY  which will train you to DO GOOD

To BE GOOD , your GOOD DEEDS must be rooted in faith grown by knowlege-

“…supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge,

knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance,

endurance with godliness, godliness with brotherly affection,

and brotherly affection with LOVE.” (2 Peter 1:5 CSB)

the Bottom line for  transformed heart health….

KNOW GOOD…BE GOOD…DO GOOD…LOVE!   Angie

WHO AM I: I am a wife and mom of 4 kids. Prior to having children, I graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. WHY AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT PILATES: I had a heart full of desire to be the best Christian, wife, mom, daughter, sister, ect... I could be, but after having 4 children within 5 years, I started to suffer from chronic pain, fatigue, and general sense of physcial weakness. My heart was determined but my flesh felt very weak. On my road to recovery, I tried various forms of exercise, but found the Pilates Method to be different. I found it was not just another "exercise class", but a holistic method that taught me how to breathe effectively, connect my core to my movements, and grow stronger and more flexible. Pilates has been part of my path to healing. It is my hope that Pilates can help others heal too, so they can fulfill all God's purposes for their lives with more grace and ease.
