HEALTHY HABITS OF A WISE WOMAN

(from Proverbs 31)

1.        Put some effort into planning

the food you and your family will eat…

“She was like a merchant ship bringing her food from far away.”

2.         Plan what you will eat, early in the day…

“She rises while it is still night and provides food for her household.”

3.        Don’t be IDLE! Keep your tools sharp and eyes open for opportunity to do good!

“She watches over the activities of her household , and is NEVER idle.”

4.        Take time to Prepare a Nice bed… sleep and sex, with your husband, is good for your health.

“She makes her own bed coverings”

5.        But not Too much sleep …

‘She rises while it is still night…”

6.        Physical strength is a tool to use to do good…

“She draws on her strength and reveals that her arms are strong.”

7.        Care about your outward appearance…

“her clothing is fine linen and purple.”

8.     But more important is your inner beauty… your heart-

“Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised”

WHO AM I: I am a wife and mom of 4 kids. Prior to having children, I graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. WHY AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT PILATES: I had a heart full of desire to be the best Christian, wife, mom, daughter, sister, ect... I could be, but after having 4 children within 5 years, I started to suffer from chronic pain, fatigue, and general sense of physcial weakness. My heart was determined but my flesh felt very weak. On my road to recovery, I tried various forms of exercise, but found the Pilates Method to be different. I found it was not just another "exercise class", but a holistic method that taught me how to breathe effectively, connect my core to my movements, and grow stronger and more flexible. Pilates has been part of my path to healing. It is my hope that Pilates can help others heal too, so they can fulfill all God's purposes for their lives with more grace and ease.
