Transform Your Heart…..Transform Your Health
“A tranquil heart is life to the body…” from Proverbs 14:30
KNOW YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE- KNOW THE BEAUTIFUL
THE BEAUTIFUL CARRIES THE HEART
THE HEART TRANSFORMED IS A TRANQUIL HEART
A TRANQUIL HEART IS A HEART FILLED WITH LOVE
LOVE COMES FROM A
PURE HEART-GODLINESS GUARDED BY ENDURANCE
CLEAR CONSCIENCE-KNOWLEDGE APPLIED THRU SELF-CONTROL
SINCERE FAITH- GOODNESS ROOTED IN FAITH
THE RESULT IS FRUITS OF LOVE
FOR GOD, OTHERS, AND YOURSELF
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always
protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
WK 1: YOUR HEART-
HOLDS THE POWER TO TRANSFORMATION
In my anguish I cried to the Lord,
and he answered by setting me free.
The Lord is with me;
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?
WK 2: BREATHE-
BE MINDFUL OF YOUR HABITS
Live as free men,
but do not use your freedom
as a cover-up for evil;
live as servants of God.
2 Peter 2:16 NIV
WK 3: CONNECT –
TO YOUR CENTER
It is for freedom
that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again
by a yoke of slavery.
WK 4: GROW-
OPEN AND LIFT YOUR HEART
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
A Transformed Heart is a Heart that Fly’s Free!
FREE: exempt from external authority, interference, restriction, etc., as a person or one's will, thought, choice, action, etc.; independent; unrestricted. (from Dictionary.com)
We are all blessed with the freedom to choose
what our heart will seek after.
We can be unjustly bound physically,
due to situations and events we find ourselves in,
but only we can bind our hearts.
In preparing for backyard Bible school lessons,
I have been amazed at the unyielding courage and strength
of conviction of many of the characters we are studying.
Five of them were slaves of a King….
yet their hearts soared free, standing firm, in the face of death.
How???.... they did not fear earthly things
for they put their HOPE, thus their Heart in the Lord’s hands.
Their Hope empowered them to live with
NO FEAR for they knew,
“either way, God would take care of them.”
FEAR of earthly things binds our hearts…
it keeps us from soaring freely like eagles…
running without growing weary…walking without fainting.
A Heart that seeks God and his righteousness
Can live free from fear…an empowered heart…
soaring free…overflowing with good works…
running strong with a clear conscience
Not bound by CAN’T, but freely choosing to DON’T
do things which are opposed to it’s heart purpose…
which is to “do all to the glory of God.”
Transform Your Heart…be Fearless….Fly Free!
