OPEN AND LIFT YOUR HEART

LIVE EACH MOMENT…with wisdom..be choosy!
At first, I love the beginning of the school year
because it offers a fresh start!
A time to reset and focus on the year ahead.
Then the fight for my calendar starts x4…
activity schedules, curriculmn nights, testing dates, school party dates, chaperoning opportunities, football games, band contests, food donations, daily emails begging for help, school e-mails with new oppritunities for more activities, volunteering, donations …it goes on and on.
So many GOOD things to do…what is a mom to do?
God wants us to be busy doing good…building…
LIVING EACH MOMENT…but with Wisdom.
In Proverbs, we are taught that
a wise woman BUILDS her house
but the foolish pluck it down with her hands.
To build good, you need to choose…
A good foundation, good tools, and good materials.
Proverbs 31, is a great illustration of a
wise mom who built a strong house….
Faith in the Lord not people or things
TOOLS and MATERIALS:
Goodness- known to be her good reputation.. trustworthy.. honorable… generous- Knowledge- knows and understands Gods plans-
Self control- prioritizes her work- family first and then others, financially prudent, good attitude, plans ahead Endurance- physically strong, works from before dawn to after dusk, keeps watch over her household, prepared for hard times- Godliness- Speaks with words of wisdom and loving instruction
House overflowing with the fruits of
for..God..Husband..kids…others…and the wise mom! So…
LIVE EACH MOMENT …with wisdom… be choosy about what you put on your calender…
take time to develop your spiritual, physical, and mental tools…
and then use them to build a strong house…
