(10/12)YOUR PHYSICAL BODY IS MUCH..MUCH MORE THAN YOU SEE

By angela coogle

1-Your physical body is much…much…more than what you see…you are the most complex creature ever created by God…you were created in His very image…your body carries your heart and soul

2-Your physical body is working every second of every day to sustain your life…The autonomic nervous system (ANS) job is to keep you alive and healthy by regulating your heart and breathing rates, digesting food, adjusting body temperature, mobilizing energy etc.

3-Your thoughts about what you see can effect how well what you cannot see is working…. There are two sides to the autonomic nervous, you are either predominantly in fight or flight, stress response mode, or you are in feel and heal, rest and repair mode. Continually activated stress response does not allow you to switch over to the rest and digest mode you need to rebuild and function properly…

4-Pause…be mindful…breathe deeply…take time to see the invisible things…be GRATEFUL…be THANKFUL...this will help to the ANS to switch to heal and feel mode….

But more importantly, it is what God commands of us…

He already knows what is best….

We must just

LOVE and TRUST in Him…

to find LOVE for ourselves.

WHO AM I: I am a wife and mom of 4 kids. Prior to having children, I graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. WHY AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT PILATES: I had a heart full of desire to be the best Christian, wife, mom, daughter, sister, ect... I could be, but after having 4 children within 5 years, I started to suffer from chronic pain, fatigue, and general sense of physcial weakness. My heart was determined but my flesh felt very weak. On my road to recovery, I tried various forms of exercise, but found the Pilates Method to be different. I found it was not just another "exercise class", but a holistic method that taught me how to breathe effectively, connect my core to my movements, and grow stronger and more flexible. Pilates has been part of my path to healing. It is my hope that Pilates can help others heal too, so they can fulfill all God's purposes for their lives with more grace and ease.
