New Move.....New Look!

By Angela Rogers

Well its been a while since I've been on here!!  My apologies.....life just takes ya sometimes!  Well after my last bang/harrah before departure I slid in a half Marathon in New England on Oct 2, 2011 at Hampton NH Smuttynose with my bags already packed to hit the road for cross country trip out west to Tucson, AZ for my new residence!!  The race was obtainable for I did recover from plantar fasciitis from my last half marathon in Worcester June 2011 yet I was exhausted from all the packing and all the goodbyes.  Yet my daughter Carie and I managed to pull it off anyways with rain and all for at least half the race.   Actually she made me to be truthful...I would have rather walked a bit more but she pushed me and I slowed her down  :)  So proud of her I think its 15 months earlier I had encouraged her to start running and do some races with me and now she is 50lbs lighter and now faster than her mom!  Thanks to her I had a very memorable time and great laughs as we crossed the line with 4 rain jackets we didn't start with for shelter and reminders.

Now I've mananged to gain 5lbs with all the parting parties before departure coupled with family and friend visits as we traveled cross country living out of a suitcase for 2 weeks.  Thank God our belongings arrived and now here I sit writing with a view that reminds me of who my creator is.  Its just beautiful here and what a place to live for the active lifestyle my husband and I like to live.

It is now Friday afternoon and once again I started this past Monday the New look to go with the new move  :)  I also started a weight loss support group for I've found that as much as each of us would like to start something on our own its usually difficult to complete without accountibility, desire and a motivator!!!  You need those around for fortification that is for sure.  Die hards that want similar goals and passions to walk along side of you as we spur each other on.

I once was told you must have a plan to work toward your goal and you must a goal to work your plan.  Well my goal is to be 20lbs lighter by the end of 2011 while training for a full marathon to attempt to complete in Jan 2012 here in Phoenix.  I won't do it unless this weight is off!  Any one know why????  Did you know with ever step its 3xs your weight in impact on that joint??  Ask Carie how much easier it is for her to run and how much better she feels!  So thus the goals, plan is to do train running and cross training with biking and Zumba (thats another story right there) and weight train at least 2-3 times a week as well as not last or least.....eat healthier.

So signing off to all, stay tuned and please feel free to contact me at anytime for anything!  Remember you can't get anywhere if you don't at least start!  Why don't you start with me and start to move towards that New Look!  :)

I absolutely love people and helping them reach goals that just seem impossible to them. I'm very outgoing energetic and a very supportive caring Fitness Coach. Time with each client is not only important to the client but also very personal and important to me as well. I... just like each of my clients must work on personal discipline and so the comprehension and understanding is relative. I too challenged myself just recently after so many years in the fitness field participating in Sprint Triathlon races as well as 5k, 10k, half marathon and currently working on full marathon. Together we can do whatever you want :)
