so i have been pondering and waiting and looking and trying to figure out what i can do with my life. I love what I do and I love hosting. So decided to put these 2 together. I need to get some people involved , camara crew, producer, editor, etC.. I have the fitness part down. but its the filming part ineed help with.. Now this is not going to be a paid venture even though i hope one day it will be. I need to shoot a PILOT. Then I can submit to TV producers and go from there. I was really hoping to get students who need experience or someone who is bored and needs a project. Anyone willing to help , please contact me , firstname.lastname@example.org . yikes, it day 40 and ive only lost 2 lbs, well, life seriously takes it toll when you are moving, that was such a big headache but sooo worth it, i am so happy in my new home. my exercise habits pretty much were cut in half, also I did not have a fridge for 5 days, which put a huge damper on my meals, WOW talk about eating out not being healthy, its so expensive I dont know how peole do it all the time My car got flooded and I just got internet today , so I am gladly writing my blog again with no complaints. Seeing that all this was going on i must say i still did pretty well. You always hear people not having enough time to workout or eat right, it can be very true. Just went through it. You just have to make the best of what you can.
Thunder and lightening are entertaining my eyes and ears as I write tonight. I have been taking it easy and am healing well. Resting my leg has helped so much, of course!!!! I had family here the whole weekend so it made it easier to not workout and actually sit down now and then. I enjoyed my time but man is it tiring even if you aren't doing that much except entertaining and running around. Today I went for a walk after the rain, it was so pretty out. last day of rest and now back to the grind tomorrow. I probably wont do a full squat or lunge but let me tell ya im gonna pump it up with arms. I ate some food this weekend that i need to burn off, asap... I may have a new venture at a new gym but that is to be named as soon as i am part of it for sure. have a wonderful, rainy thunderous night....
so rememebr I said i was injured , ha!!! not only my leg but my neck has been hindering my movements. I must extend this process to 45 days , seeing as this week, is practically a waste for me. I am teaching but half way, I have not done anything extra at all, and if I stop, then this puts me 1 week behind. I have to be fair to myself, because life happens, I used to push through the pain, but ya i was much younger and healed faster, now healing feels like im at turtle speed. I have had some interesting meals, some meat with onions, salad and sweet potato, I say some meat because im not sure what it was exactly. lol. Chickem parmesan, which I would normally never eat but must say it wasnt bad. and so far today, I had an egg sandwhich for breakfast. That doesnt give me much energy so Ill be eating really soon. I have been icing, and icing and really trying to get through this, wish me luck to heal faster. xoxo
2 classes back to back friday , super hard because my hip floxor was in a bit of pain. I iced and iced and took my anti-inflammatory, and felt better, ate a huge lunch, turkey meat load, brown rice and cauliflower, i felt like I ate for 2. :) Swam in the ocean it was amazing, saw some tarpon , they looked like sharks but everyone was in water and watching these amazing fish. Friday night i enjoyed a rack of ribs , yep, and it was good . and after 7 classes all week I believed I deserved it.; Saturday was a rainy slow rest day, but later had some fun dancing in the living room of my friends house. Love to chill and dance. So here is Sunday morning, had some eggs and ham and whole grain toast, coffee and a tangerine. its pretty gloomy outside but I hope to enjoy a swim in the ocean anyway. Enjoy your day, try to get active even if its just a walk, swim or bike ride. I pushed myself to the extreme this week. Taking it easy..... xo
So last night 3 classes in a row, wow, my hip flexor hurts , apparently I overdid it, thats alright. Im only resting today, no biggie, tomorrow 2 classes back to back, yes this is teaching , but i do the entire class. plus, count and talk and motivate. I love it.... lunch was a good turkey meatloaf, rice and tomatoes. yummy!. so far I am seeing a little more tightness in the abs, it takes a while , i want to be back to 130 and ill be good. .
So , last night went on a fabulous walk slash talk with my girl, Sunny, i loved it 1 hour power walk, o yaaaaa!!!!!!!!today I started my day with seeing from the balcony into the intercoastal, a shark, yes i said shark, stingray or manaray, and 3 manatees. Seriously!!!!!!The best wake up ever. ate my protein pancakes, taught an amazing sculpting class, and yes I was sore from yesterdays class, ouch. BTW i teach 3 classes tomorrow, yep i might be nuts but day 7 , rockin and rollin. people if you want something you have to go get it, you dont burn calories sitting around reading this......... heehee i just messing with you, well not really, MOVE YOUR BOOTY'S
so couldnt make Zumba so instead did a sculpting class woohoo my legs were burning., i dont think i have taken anyones sculpting class in hmmm i dont even know. Im so use to teaching , but i have to say it feels good not to have to be the one coming up with all the exercises for once. Then I had my lunch : chicken , rice, and green beans.. pretty good.
move of the day: start in plank position lunge front with right then with left, do not leave squat posotion, then step back with right then left, continue , 10 no rest. burn baby burn!!!!
so pushing it with 7 workouts last week was trully hard, this week i think I have the same, i am really tired and my muscles are exausted. i have to eat a bit more carbs this week to keep up with all this muscle abuse.
This week I am going to make cauliflower mashed potatoes, from my nutritionist freind Sunny, and also I will try one new recipe out of my fitness mags, I will let you know which one when i decide.
Today will be another rest day, because I need it badly. By tomorrow , Zumba should be a breeze. Have a great Cinco de Mayo, enjoy those cocktails lightly.
