The other day in one of my Weightloss Programs, a client mentioned this new machine that she wanted to try. She explained that "that you sit in it and it "shakes" you up a bit and "shakes" the fat off of you." My response to that was "Irina, being Fit is a Lifetsyle, not something you do once every 6 months and then your good for awhile."
What is a Fit Lifestyle?
Well, I am first going to tell you what it is not! It's not eating alfalfa grass and wheat germ on a regular basis. It's not fasting 5 days out of 7. It's not doing 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups every night. And it's certainly not taking diet pills, wearing saran wrap underneath my sweats and paying large amounts of money to sit in a machine that "shakes" my fat off!
A Fit Lifetsyle, is first and foremost, feeling good about yourself and about your body regardless of the shape or size. You have to get your Mind & Heart (Power of Thought fused with Emotion) Fit before any change that you want can Manifest. In other words, you have to Feel what you want before it can show up in your experience.
How can you feel Fit when reality presents to you a Body that is not Fit? Make Peace with yourself, with your current state and feel good about the awareness that your ready for something different. Then take a few minutes every day to feel what that something different is. Perhaps it's more energy thruought the day or relaxed fitting clothes or a healthy glow in your face. Whatever it is, really feel it now.
Then make small changes to support that feeling. For instance, walking more as it connects you to that feeling of more energy. Or perhaps, it's replacing your afternoon soda or coffee with a glass of water and a slice of lemon as that water & lemon supports that "healthy glow" feeling in your face. Start small so that the small changes replaces those small behaviors that do not serve your "Fit-feeling" You. Those small changes, in a very short time, will now be what you do regularly and will become part of the new Fit You! You are creating a Lifetstyle that Fits the You that You have been Feeling. And oh, how good that Feels!
