Why digestion is important for healthy life?

Whenever we eat food we just care about what we like to eat and keep flooding our mouth with whatever we crave for. While we eat we just forget about our poor digestive system which has to break down and process all the food particles that we have eaten. A good and healthy digestive tract breaks down the food into nutrients without any complications like heartburns, sores, gastritis etc. We all are blessed with healthy digestive system, but how we maintain it depends upon our lifestyle habits.

Good bacteria: They are very much essential for a healthy digestive tract. Probiotics promote smooth functioning of the digestive system. Hence ensure that you include yogurt and other dairy products in your daily diet.Dietary fiber: Fruits, whole grains and vegetables provide the dietary fiber which help in proper functioning of the bowels. Snack on veggies and fruits as they help us feel full and are instantly absorbed by the body.

Work outs: Physical workouts play a great role in maintaining healthy digestive tract. The intestinal contractions during workouts ensure active movement of the stool accompanied with less amount of water loss. And also Ginger have been used since ages as a herb in preparing food as well as used as an alternative to cure common ailments. Drink water: Water is the most important fluid without which proper and healthy functioning of the digestive system is not feasible.
