Saw my doctor yesterday for my 37 week check up - baby is good but she is concerned about a vaginal delivery so we are looking to schedule a c-section in 11-12 days - wow baby girl will be here soon! So much to do until then.
We did ask about working out again - she said within the first 2 weeks they suggest walking and not lifting anything more than 20 pounds. After that, she said 6 weeks in I'll be cleared to work out again. Like I used to - weights, running, kickboxing, all of it. Granted, I haven't done much in the last few months so I'll have to gradually work my way back into it again. But I am so excited to be able to bring that part of my life back into full swing. I have missed it for sure.
So the next few weeks will be about creating goals for 2014 - can you believe we are almost there? I want to run some 5Ks next year. And what else? The possibilities are endless!
