How's Your Year Going?

ChallengesFitnessHealthWellnessWeight Loss
By Clara Bassett

There’s always such hope for great change at the beginning of a New Year.  However, most of us feel like we can begin to improve our lives tomorrow.  After all, it’s only the 10th day of the year.  We still have 355 days to get it right.

This is the year we have chosen to “transform” our lives.  We will rid ourselves of those nasty habits that deter us from our health and fitness goals.  This spring we will have the body we’ve always dreamed of, toned arms, a slim waistline, ripped abs, sculpted thighs and yes, this summer, we will wear that bikini!

I’ve got to tell you the truth.  Good luck with your transformation if you have not made a solid commitment to your health.  If you haven’t declared a specific goal and have not begun your exercise classes or personal training sessions, chances are, this year will not go as planned.

See the truth is that most people have really busy lives.  A 40 hour work week (or more), a family life with kids to chauffeur, homework to supervise, housework to manage and of course, 8 hours of sleep to fit in; a challenge when trying to achieve your health and fitness goals.

However, you still have time to work this problem out.

There are 168 hours per week.

40 hour work week

10 hours chauffeuring kids

5 hours homework supervision

14 hours house work

56 hours sleeping

7 hours miscellaneous

132 Total hours spent

168-132 = 36 hours left over!!!

36 hours are still available to dedicate to your health and wellness!  No time you say?  Lame excuse!  Now go make this year count!

Take the Personal Best 30 Day Challenge and transform your life starting TODAY!  You can still do it, there’s still time.  Let’s go, don’t put it off one more day.
