I hope the week has started off to be productive and full of energy! A lot
of people dread Mondays and have psychologically set themselves up to lack
energy and productivity. It's amazing what happens to your brain depending
on what you are thinking and your actions and reactions follow suit.
Thinking about this led me to thinking about how we avoid the "dreaded
Monday", as an example and the importance of our mind set. So instead of
writing about setting goals, creating a plan, and taking action, which you
all know how to do. I want to make sure you have what it takes to do those
things and ultimately avoid the "dreaded Monday" scenario!
WHAT IT TAKES:
1. Be Passionate about your endeavour. It is a lot easier to accomplish
goals when you truely love what you do. Make your passion your work and
your work your passion.
2. Be your own positive force. Self drive and motivation are how the most
successful people have become successful. You are the only one that is
going to start making things happen for yourself. And when you run up
against obstacles, you have to be the one that picks yourself up and find
3. Believe that you can and you will. Believe in yourself because you
always have you. This way anything is possible and you will always
When you have these 3 things as a part of your mind set, you will be
extremely successful and always accomplish what you set out to do. The
energy you will gain from thinking this way will continue to carry you,
even on the "dreaded Mondays". Make sure you do what you have to do for
you to keep these at the forefront of your mind. Read books, sign up for
blogs and emails by people who inspire and motivate you, read motivational
quotes daily, meditate to center your thoughts, and surround yourself with
people who have the same mind set.
I personally follow my advise to you. I am on email lists for a couple of
very successful and inspiring people in the fitness and business
industries. I have smart, strong minded people around me. I've read many
business management and personal growth books, the most recent by the
National Posture Institute, which is educational and motivating to me. I
do some form of exercise every day, which always focuses my thoughts and
fuels my days.
If you don't already, get your mind set on these 3 things. Your life will
change and there will be no going back!
Live Inspired Always....
