intro to 4 weeks of fitness

Getting fit is difficult.  It is filled with ups and downs, challenges and obstacles.  It is also energizing and fun and amazing!  The best thing you can do is stay committed, keep moving forward and not let setbacks trip you up and make you lay flat.  Get up, get moving and keep going!

In this blog I plan to talk about different aspects of fitness, my own journey and things that hopefully help you stay on track. 

Each week comes with a new set of challenges to meet. So join me as we punch today in the face!

Although I started out planning a broadcasting career by studying television and film at Penn State University, I have been an athlete since I was ten years old. So it wasn't a shift for me when I decided to go into fitness full time. Working with some of the best pros in the business led me to an IFPA Personal Training certification, then ACE personal trainer certification. I then went on to pursue Advanced PT status, a Children's Fitness Certification and Bootcamp Certification. I also completed a self directed curriculum in Raw Foods for healing and Vegan Fitness for elite athletes. I started my career at a mega 100,000 sq ft fitness facility, then moved onto personal training at a celebrity private fitness studio in the exclusive Georgetown area in Washington, DC. Fitness, exercise and health are my triple passions. It is my joy in life to help others discover that passion for themselves! I currently own & operate a private personal training company and live in the DC metro area with my husband and son.
