Happy autumn to all!
With the changing of seasons, and as routines amplify with the return to school and work, it is an opportune time to stop and ask oneself, "What am I doing right now, and how does it connect me to my higher goals and vision?". A great exercise to try a couple of times a day, this question can help prevent us from getting caught up in stressful patterns of routine, filter out what is not essential or purposeful to our lives, and bring us closer to the things that are.
Last month I was honored to study with Gary Gray, the "Father of Function", in San Diego, before traveling to Paris, France to learn more about movement techniques such as Feldenkreis, Floor Barre, and Pilates. I look forward to sharing the information with the community and bringing it to life in my October classes.
Community classes this month; Saturdays 8am on Malibu Beach, 9:15am at Malibu Fitness, and many pilates/alignment classes at Naam Yoga in Santa Monica. Hope to see you soon!
