We all had a great trip hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Our group of 18 from my "Hip Hiking" club hiked to Emerald Lake, Bear Lake, Nymph Lake on day 1. Day 2 took us through some beautiful meadows and a challenging climb to Bridal Veil Falls. Cool mountain water was refreshing! Everyone enjoyed their lunch while a few of the hikers made their way to the top of the falls. Hiking to Sky Pond on day 3 was exhilerating! Elevation of 10,900 feet took us above treeline for some wonderful views of the valley and the changing colors of the Aspens. Elk could be seen in and out of the park. Lots of great snapshots of the wildlife. Each night we gathered for some delicious meals at local restaurants. Our lively group shared stories and laughter. Hip Hikers loved the Cowboy Western show and meal on our last evening together. Entertainment was top notch and a perfect ending to our trip. Get outdoors it's good for the soul!
