I figured that I would break the ice by telling everyone a little bit more about me. I am a Colorado native that loves the outdoors. I have always been a rather active person however when I went off to college I got a little side tracked and gained the freshmen 15 plus some. By the time that I graduated from college I had made it to the heavy weight of 311 pounds. Then I started to watch the "Biggest Loser" and was inspired to lose my weight when I realized that I was weighing in heavier than some of the men on the "Biggest Loser". Between that realization and the fact that my family history has a lot of obesity in it I decided that I need to lose weight. I started out working out on my own by taking walks to the park, then it started getting cold so I was starting to get lazy again. I was determined to get the weight off because I was not going to let all the health problems that had hit my family due to their weight hit me so I joined the gym.
Once I joined the gym I did a month of cardio for an hour and a half a day and dropped 20 pounds but was getting bored with just cardio and had no idea what I was doing to change up my workout so I hired a personal trainer. Mark my personal train was awesome he kept my workouts fun new and exciting every time that we met. In addition to this he was always very supportive every time he saw me even when we didn't have a set appointment. Mark helped my lose 60 pounds while we were working together. Mark helped me with much more than my weight loss. He helped me with my self-esteem, my confidence and he helped inspire my love for fitness which drove me to become a personal trainer. After working with Mark I dropped another 20 pounds for a grand total of a 100 pound weight loss.
I have since kept my weight off for 8 months and become an ACE certified personal trainer. I hope to inspire and help many others in the way that Mark inspired and helped me. My slogan Fitness A Lifestyle is not just my slogan it is my life. Let me help you become the happy healthy you that you want to be.
