Heading back to the gym for your workouts now that summer is winding down and fall is setting in? Wondering what to do to get the best of your workouts? What muscle groups to work?
If you are working out on a daily basis (6 days a week should be the max you are working out weekly) then it is highly suggested that you target one muscle group a day (i.e... ABs, Arms, and Legs). The following is what is suggested for those of you that workout daily.
Arms ---- Monday and Thursday
Legs ---- Tuesday and Friday
ABs and Chest ----- Wednesday and Saturday
You can work which every muscle group that you want first the basic gist that you should get from this schedule is that if you are going to work out daily then you need to target one muscle group each day and give each muscle group 48 to 72 hours to for your muscles to rest. The reason for giving your muscles time to rest is because during the rest time your muscles are repairing the micro tears that you create in your muscles while working out. Now if you are one of those that don’t have time to work out every day and you want to work the whole body it is fine to do a full body workout as the time between each workout will give your muscles time to heal.
