Remember the buddy system that they made you use while you were growing up? Well with trying to lose weight I highly suggesting using a buddy system to help keep you going and to push pass the cravings and the days that you just want to give up because you hit a plateau. There are several reasons that setting up a buddy to help you reach your fitness goals.
1) Support (its not always easy to stay on track if the people around you aren't on the same track and are always eating unhealthy and trying to keep you from working out)
2) An added push (there are going to be days that you just want to give in to that craving or just not wanting to hit the gym for that workout for a few times a week)
3) Someone to push you to your limits (some times when we workout by ourselves we just go through the motions but don’t really push ourselves but when we workout with a buddy you want to one up them so you will push yourself to workout to your limits)
4) Someone to talk to (believe it or not it helps to have someone to talk to it helps relieve stress which helps lower your Cortisel levels which helps you lose weight)
If you're having trouble staying motivated or staying on track with your diet I would recommend finding a friend and setting up a buddy system to help you stay on track with your goals.
