Its 6:30 am and I like to get up earlier than my kids for school to check email, schedule and figure out my to do list for the day! I have coffee and whole wheat bagel thin with bananas and peanut butter. I got my carbs for my workout, protein and fruit.. I am doing the 1/2 marathon on Sunday but due to the weather have hardly trained. The farthest I have run in a few weeks is 6 miles so I need to get at least a 10 mile run in this week.. I have enlisted my friends/clients to accompany me there since there is a 5 mile run as well. I think if you want a goal, sign up for a 5K road race.. It worked for me.. Seeing all those fit runners, the cute outfits, the healthy snacks after.. it motivated me to start my journey back to being in shape and feeing good about myself again. Its really amazing that when you take care of yourself, getting your weight down, controlling your eating, doing your cardio, you feel so much better. You can go into a store and fit into clothes, you feel more confident and are able to take care of others so much better. Its a commitment! Its a lifestyle change! You can't yo yo diet or do cardio for a few weeks and get discouraged you "arn't seeing any changes". It takes time and commitment.. but you will see the results and you will feel so much better.. My clients know my slogan." Exercise is NOT an option! It is a Priority!!!
