It's that time of the year again! All of those "New Years Resolutions!" Time to dust off the cardio equipment and break out the running shoes! I used to be one of those people too. I finally realised that I wasn't making new resolutions but REINVENTING myself into new goals not just for me but for my clients. The key to success with your health is to set realistic goals. If weight loss is your goal be real with yourself to lose 1-3 pounds a week. The longer it takes to lose the weight the longer it will take if you gain a few pounds back. Start with something small like a 30 minute walk with friends or family. Having someone walk with you makes you more accountable.
If your new goal is to "eat clean" then start slow. Clean out your cabinets and get rid of high fructose corn syrup products, foods that are not natural or have more than 5 ingredients on them. These foods are typically laden with preservatives and chemicals. Once your cabinets are cleaned out go to your refrigerator and do the same. The more colorful the produce the better it is for you.
Take time to REINVENT yourself for 2013. I am here to help. ;0)
