Balance is important!

By Magdalena Romanska

make sure that during your workouts, you address the issue of balance. Balance is so important and we can improve it relatively easily: the sooner we start, the sooner we will be more balanced! Balance prevents us from falling, from twisting an ankle, from bumping into something we don't want to bump into! It might prevent us from breaking bones, like it has been on multiple occasions in my sports-litted life (however, once, it did not work: I lost my balance while rollerskating on a cruise ship, outstretched my left hand to "soften" the landing and, the next thing I was sure about was that I had my left hand broken... with dislocation... Ouch. Things happen, right?... So, do use the BOSU, Swiss ball, balance dots and other fun equipment to gain some more balance! If you need me, I can help you out with setting a balance-specific plan just for you. let me know how you're doing, OK? Stay fit-fit! M. :-)
