I've been keeping going with the every day in May! got in a casual workout on Friday of a Hike 30 mins, a good track workout yesterday of 8x100's- 30 mins total and today hit the bike, did some yoga, back, abs and booty work- 40 mins total.
Kids have been keeping me going like crazy...drive here, go there, etc... Today has been much better- thank goodness since it's cycle day 2. Travis and I are going to watch "American Sniper" to get in the mood for Memorial Day.

Other than that, things are good here...just very busy. Gunner is having 3 friends spend the night and I'm supposed to be cleaning right now, HA!
Yesterday's track practice was fun, we did hurdles and long jump. I didn't run much as I am still so sore from Tues. I did do enough though to make it count for a 20 min workout Still hitting it every day in May!!
Wednesday's workout was short too- about 25 mins. I did bench and parts of 2 BUTT workouts. The PBJ and MAC-- fun stuff!! Gotta go clean, then hit my workout...I have legs on tap-- TGIF!!

Decided to return my FitBit Surge... It was not "scientific" or accurate enough for me. I am a NERD. Went to school for Exercise Science and YES, I excelled at the NERDY labs we did to test fitness levels, strength, metabolism, body-fat, heart rate, EKG's etc... so having a piece of equipment that doesn't quite operate on the SCIENCE drove me insane!
I think it's a good tool for the general public, but for me I couldn't handle the inaccuracy, especially the inaccuracy of my HR monitor. The main reason I purchased it was for the HR monitor and it was not accurate enough for my purposes. I'm going to try the Polar A300 instead.

Track Attack, Practice last night was great! we had a couple new faces, hoping for more each time!! Next practice is Saturday at 2pm
We did our warm up, drills and stretching. Then ran a 200m, 400m(mine was 68sec) and 100m-- Everyone did GREAT! ...finished with practicing the triple jump. Right, Right, Left, PIT! or Left, Left, Right, PIT! Fun times!
Next practice we will focus hard on SPEED!! We'll do 100's and some shorter 30m accelerations. Join us you will get FASTER!
My workout total time was 20mins bike in am, 45mins of track attack= 65 mins

I'm a rollin' along in this contest, I feel very engaged. It helped to take my pics and stats yesterday. I did manage to get up both today and yesterday at 7am. Didn't sleep much last night though, we went to bed at 1:30am. And tonight I'll be up late-- i have to pick up my son after they return from the STATE TRACK MEET in Herber Springs, AR. He's running the 4x400m relay this afternoon-- Wish him luck!
As for me, here' my workout report:
Sunday workout 5-3: Hike (while trimming trees) and Bike 13 mins Monday workout 5-4: bike, got interrupted 2x's with phone calls 15 mins, Run 25mins on treadmill- 3.1 miles total-- hard mins at 9mph. NO QUAD PAIN!! Outside sprinter drills 15mins= 50mins
Today: Legs and Track Attack at 5:30 Track Attack will now have practice on Tue, Thurs @5:30 and Sat at 2pm. had to move practice after talking to the Athletic Director of Gravette HS...we can't have it as the same time as football. Also, I had to assure him my "club" was not for profit. It's costing me a lot of money and time-- certainly not a profit center!
EATING REPORT: Getting better, but yesterday was a bust. I had several items on my NO, NO list. I need to go to the store!
My focus is protein and greens. I did have a cucumber and celery yesterday
Today's Eats: 3 eggs, 1.5 cup coffee with half and half, PLAN: Lunch- burger with mustard and a carrot, Dinner: MEXICAN, no chips-- I'll do a salad.
The Choir concert went well, both girls left us wanting more of them ON STAGE. My DD Gracie had a very short solo...she just got rollin' and it was over! She's practicing "Rolling in the Deep" to do for her next guitar/singing video.

29th of April and my 29th Day in a row for workouts!! If you have never tried this EVERY DAY workout mentality you should! Something every day changes things in my brain-- so many less excuses, no loss of momentum and such a sense of pride!
Today was 21 mins of bike in the morning, then 20 mins of lifting just now: inverted pull ups, bicep curls and pull ups- plus some core work for both my abs and lower back.
Yesterday, I had a good solid run for 20 mins-- a couple intervals at 8mph, then 10 mins straight at 8. It was good and no quad flare up!!
Tomorrow, is the first day of my little "Track Club"...it'll be just a soft start and more of a meeting than practice, but still I must be prepared! please support us with a like on facebook www.facebook.com/NWATrackAttack

Today, I already rode the bike for 30 mins, however it was not fasted. I've been really BOOSTING this month!! This afternoon, I have a track workout on tap. Gonna head there at about 4:30 so I can workout AFTER most of the track kids are done-- I got a lot of work done on TRACK ATTACK! (our Track club's name) It'll be kinda unorganized at first but should come together quickly.
Eats so far today M1- Banana +Sweet Angle PP (Blended in a Shake N' Take) PC M2- Tuna+ Egg salad, Carrot and Lettuce PCFG M3- Burger and Apple PFC I've also drank 2 cups of coffee with half n' half and half a coconut water while I got some sun and digested lunch. I'll have 1 more carb today after my run and I need to get in more P's and G's tonight!
Like I said I am truly BOOSTING this month. Really, Really Trying to eat more so I can perform better and recover better from my workouts! I am gaining weight too- up to 135 today. Oh well, it will come off after this boosting phase. Today is cycle day 23.
Anyhow, I ordered myself a present today. A FIT BIT SURGE!! Should be fun to get involved in the fitbit world and use it as a heart rate monitor, etc..
