It sounds basic but there's a difference between a 10 year old moving to Just Dance for the sake of just wanting to do it compared to the 40 and up group needing to move more often for the health of it. Remember how your mind makes you feel 20-something and after working out your body reminds you for three days what muscle(s) you worked out so your body makes you feel 100-something. Do not let those muscles psyche you out of the next workout.
If you hibernated these last two weeks especially if your kids were out of school then make an appointment with yourself to go for a walk. Enjoy the weather while you can. Enjoy the festivities of this New Year's Eve weekend without going over board. Enjoy the first day of the week with a smile to those muscles letting them know whose boss. Happy New Year!
