PHIT Act to Pay for Physical Activity

Tuesday, August 23, 2016 • Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972

I just sent notes to my members of Congress around the Personal Health Investment Today Act and hope that you will consider doing the same.

The PHIT Act (HR1218/ SB2218) would allow individuals to use their Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA's) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) to pay for most forms of physical activity.  This would include items such as youth and adult sports leagues, swimming lessons, group fitness classes, gym memberships, dance classes, etc.
