I hate having my teeth worked on, I even cringe when I have to sit for a cleaning.
Mind you I have great teeth, I take really good care of them, I don't like it but I do it.
So, yesterday as I was walking up to my dentist's door, I noticed that I was really tense, I was really dreading the upcoming hour. Then I had an Oprah moment, I realized that this must be how my clients feel when they know I'm coming!
I love to workout (well...I have to workout) granted there are days when I have to really convince myself to get moving, but really I do love to exercise, actually I love the RESULTS from my daily exercise.
So, back to the dentist. In order to preserve my teeth ( albiet my 84 yr old dad has all of his), I must do regular maintanence. DUH.
It's like working out. It takes a while to "get it" but once you do, you do.
I constantly hear "I really didn't want to do this today but am so glad I did" or, "I really DID NOT want to come to bootcamp tonight but am feeling so much better now"..
Exercise is the same as anything else.
Gotta do it.
