Autumn is here! This is my favorite time of year to be outside exercising, walking the dogs, or just sitting on the deck reading a book. This is also a great time of year to get active. The hot, humid weather that keeps many people from being outside is behind us. The winter weather is fast approaching, so enjoy the outdoors while you can! Find local trails and take the family on a hike or a bike ride together. Spend a day at the apple orchard picking your own apples and enjoying a healthy snack. Walk through the neighborhood and notice the changing colors on the trees. Whatever you do, you will be moving your body and filling the lungs with fresh air!
