BellyTone® Bellydancing starting in September!

BellyTone® belly-dancing is a great way to begin or augment your fitness program. With BellyTone®, the belly-dance (low impact moves) do not stress the joints. The hour long work-out is highly cardiovascular and fun!  

Whole body vibration is the new 'buzz' word in fitness.  BellyTone® provides this component to fitness as your body has to do the work in a move called 'the shimmy'. This move stimulates the immune system, helps digestion, and regulates the female system no matter what the biological age of the person.  

The history of the belly-dance is an interesting one.  The moves were done by women for women (mothers to daughters, grandmothers to granddaughters) to bring health and vitality to the body.  Only in the Victorian Age was belly-dancing seen by the 'men-folk'.  Up until that time, it was handed down to promote health and happiness.  

The BellyTone® belly-dance system combines simple, repetitive moves that increase the flow of endorphins and stimulate the muscles, ligaments and tendons to create a balanced system of health to the body.  Complex choreography is not used as it can take away from the aerobic effect and cause one to stop and start continuously. You do not have to be a dancer to enjoy BellyTone®!
