Women of the past and present have always taken on a heavy load as the home maker and many today as the breadwinner to. Women wear coutless hats to keep the home and everyone around them functioning. That works great for everyone else, but then she is often left exhausted, stressed, adn feeling taken for granted. I am learning how multi-tasking doesn't prove to be more productive, but merely creates unhealthy stress. Hey I get it---sometimes we don't have a choice, but in fact we do! Think about it, what happens when you get sick and can't think straight because you're all stuffed up and body's burning up from fever? ALL activities that were so important before are now secondary, right? The old adage of no one can take better care of you than you, is true! Every day there is injustices all over the world against women. I say if you are not holding your health as a priority then you are administering an injustice against yourself. I want to challenge you this month of March (OUR MONTH) to focus on ONE task at a time. If that means everyone and everything has to wait a little longer than usual--then let them. Patience is something that we have very little of in this society and we push ourselves to exhaustion to get it NOW! Well, if that was the way it was meant to be then why are we stressed after working so hard to get it or why don't we all have sexy bods, perfect body fat, and no ailments all right now?! That is what we call fantasy not reality and we got to be careful to not mix the two. Try it--doing ONE task at a time. Remember it's not worth forgoing your health to fulfill a moment that will soon be forgotten-- while your the health of your body you have to live with each day. No one can take better care of you, than you!
