  1. MOBILITY/ STABILITY A JOINT BY JOINT APPROACH( Gone geek on you again)

Mobility is defined how much movement you have where two bones meet. Think leg bone connected to the hip bone..........
Stability- is defined as: the ability to maintain or control joint movement or position. Got it? Good

Now each joint in the body needs both but needs more of one than the other. Let me explain

Ankle- need m...ore mobility than stability. How would you walk with a stiff ankle?

Knee-- need more stability than mobility. Having loose knees would be a problem

Hips- need more mobility than stability How would we sit down with stiff hips?

Low Back- Stability. Not a mobile joint for a reason!

Start to see a pattern emerge?

When one joint gets out of whack, it affects the joint above or below it. Classic example is immobile hips and low back pain.

Ask me in the comments below how to improve your joint stability/mobility.Or email me at shanemcleantraining@gmail.com. That's what I'm here for!
