I very rarely go to the mall. But when my first daughter was seven months old in 2005, I flew to a SCW Mania in Dallas, Texas, for continuing fitness education (extremely worthwhile, but that's another story), and I felt as though those two days away from my baby would likely kill us all.  And at a gift shop in Texas, a small brown bear sat smiling at me from a window and called to me to take it home to my daughter, making those two days apart just a bit more worthwhile and a little less unbearable.

 We all need to sleep better. Me included. Better sleep will help with recovery, muscle growth and fat loss. Heard it before.... correct? But how do we go about it? This is how.... 1. Exercising in the morning around 7am will help you spend 75% more time in deep sleep and let you cycle through the four stages of sleep more often. What are the 4 cycles? I don't know but all I know is a sleep like a log after a early morning training session.

so pushing it with 7 workouts last week was trully hard, this week i think I have the same, i am really tired and my muscles are exausted. i have to eat a bit more carbs this week to keep up with all this muscle abuse.This week I am going to make cauliflower mashed potatoes, from my nutritionist freind Sunny, and also I will try one new recipe out of my fitness mags, I will let you know which one when i decide.Today will be another rest day, because I need it badly. By tomorrow , Zumba should be a breeze. Have a great Cinco de Mayo, enjoy those cocktails lightly.

 Want to get lean? Protein will help you get there. My go to sources are 1. Eggs - Eat the whole egg. The yolk is actually the most nutrient dense portion of the egg, providing a ton of vitamins and minerals. 6 grams per egg of muscle building protein. 2. Pork - The "other" white meat, just as lean as chicken when you get the right cut. Go with the Pork lion or boneless pork chops.

 You can be strong, even if you struggle to gain lean mass or lose fat. You have the ability to get stronger, right now regardless of where your at. Take it form me. I was 6' 2inches and a whopping 145 pounds in my early 20's. With alot of guess work and reading and watching what people do in the gym i am now a strong 180 pounds. Focusing on getting stronger will help with lean mass , fat loss and whatever goals you have. Cause stronger is better. Period.
