The holidays are quickly approaching. Are you ready?1) plan all your meals 2) eat out no more than 2 times per week 3) get lots of sleep 4) exercise daily 5) plan for all of your cheat meals 6) relieve your stress daily with meditation, yoga, exercise, massage, accupuncture 7) Stick to your grocery list and buy only what you need; avoid overeating. 8) eat healthy 90% of the time. 9) make a decision to maintain a healthy weight and do it! 10) spend MOST of your time with freinds and family that will not sabotage you by over-eating, exposure to bad or unhealthy food or habits.
One of the most common fitness class misconceptions that I encounter is the notion that you have to be at a certain level of fitness or have some sort of expert knowledge or experience to join the class. This is so false! Fitness classes are designed to help you get fit, or maintain your level of physical fitness. There is no requirement that you need to possess a certain amount of skill to join a class, or that you have to ‘be good enough’ to take the class.
Since opening in August 2015, I’ve been asked numerous times if I have a drop-in rate for classes. Some of the reasons people give for desiring drop-in rates are that they want to try the class to see if they like it first (understandable) or that they’re too busy to regularly attend classes, which let’s face it, most people are overbooked these days.
Coach Kevin is leading a great Urban Boot Camp. The 4 week outdoor camp was such a hit the recruits asked for round two! Seems they like being challenged and like to run, jump, crawl around on the ground. Most importantly they have created a bond and are and making great headway in their fitness levels. HOOAH!
