The metabolic processes of your body include every activity that works towards converting food into energy. The energy that is generated from metabolic activities is used not only for doing various activities externally but also for our body to carry out its most basic internal functions. Many of these functions are as basic and as perennial as the beating of the heart or the functioning of the lover, brain and kidneys.
The title of this blog adequately describes what happened the first session of week 2. The participants are in this program to improve their fitness levels, body comps and lifestyle. All the while having individual goals in a group environment. Okay- So what the heck happened last night?!?! A few words come to mind; loaded for bear and challenge me with a butt kickin! The workout was absolutely owned by each and every one of them!!!
Although this was our first session these women were impressive. Following body comps and introductions the majoritiy participated in an Intro To Kettlebell Session. Doing so prepared them for what's coming down the pipe. The others rocked a water rower/kettlebell circuit. Each group is assigned a trainer. A portion of the training session is set for the group to discuss that days lession. FB groups allow us to break out with our coaching for some individual team coaching. It hasn't happened yet but I suspect a bit of team competition is in our future.
Tomorrow we kick off a challenging six week program. 2 teams of 7 will work individually and as a group to rally up by improving their body comps and weight. The person who creates the most change will win a years membership to Balance Personal Training's FIT LAB. Throughout our journey I'll be blogging our progress. Let's all rally around all these hard working individuals!
This is the BEST time of the year! Unfortunately, we make it more than what it should be, and it becomes the busiest/craziest time of year! Our schedules become so full and we hardly have time to breath let alone exercise. So, below I have made up a fun little workout called the 12 Days of Fitness. It’s quick and meant to be done everyday for the next 12 days.
One of the most common reasons that people quit exercising is boredom with the routine. Mixing up your exercise program from one day to the next is a great way to keep your mind and your body engaged and working. You’ll see better results and feel invigorated every time you work out. Try some of these great exercises to get the most out of your workout without burning out:
Q: " I am finding that after I do a workout I am really hungry and often make bad choices in what I eat. Can you give me any tips on what would be a good snack to have that will curb my cravings without ruining the hard work I have just done!"Source : HH1 linh dam
For many people men and women, dating and workout do not actually move nicely together. Training is something you are doing by your-self, both in the fitness center or in an area filled with class-mates that are sweaty. Heading however, on a day, typically involves in the event that if you are fortunate, sitting, consuming, watching films--and possibly an extended walk to the shore.
Everywhere you turn there are people walking together, Zumba classes being advertised and running clubs meeting for weekly jogs. Why are people flocking together to exercise? What are the benefits of working out with a group?
