How I found inspiration from Bobbi Brown…. As I was driving home from the gym one morning, as always, I had the radio on. Much to my husband’s chagrin, I am a serial station changer…..yep, I’m one of those people who constantly changes the station until I find something that I want to listen to……for a while at least…..then it’s on to the next station!

In the front, middle or back of the class is perfect!  After all buzz words are location, location, location!  We all have our comfort zones in the group exercise environment.  Me?  Unless I'm instructing or presenting my favorite spot is about as far back as possible!  In the early years I often turned the class around where the back became the front and vice versa.  Please forgive me if you were in one of those classes!  We all have our comfort zones of physical space where we excell.  Group ex is one of those places.  Stake out your place

When I was much younger, my brother, sister and I lived with my dad. My parents divorced when I was around 9 years old and my father obtained custody of us.

One of the most common fitness class misconceptions that I encounter is the notion that you have to be at a certain level of fitness or have some sort of expert knowledge or experience to join the class. This is so false! Fitness classes are designed to help you get fit, or maintain your level of physical fitness. There is no requirement that you need to possess a certain amount of skill to join a class, or that you have to ‘be good enough’ to take the class.
