First and foremost: caution! Insanity workout is definitely not for everyone. Those who are only stepping into the world of fitness and starting their workout routine should not start with insanity straightaway. Insanity did not get the name by mere chance: it is really an insanely exhausting workout routine designed to push to the very limits even those who have been working hard for years. If you’re ready to give it a go, here is what you should know beforehand.
There’s a constant focus on what is new, flashy and trendy. For example. P90X, Insanity, Zumba, Shake weight. Just kidding on the shake weight. Still wanted to see if you were still reading.
And, to a certain extent, that’s fine. But in pursuing the new, the cutting-edge and the fresh, we can sometimes overlook the basics.
So lately I've been following the Insanity workout and have been enjoying it. Yes I said enjoying it. In less than a month I will take on the Insanity Certification and cannot wait. This fall I will begin teaching Insanity classes at The Body Mill. If high intensity interval Training is the challenge you are looking for then stop on in. The results from Insanity are amazing. This is actually my second time doing the program. Almost anyone can do Insanity. The key is to follow your own pace and listen to your body. Rest when needed.
