Come on people! A favorite quote of mine, "people who don't WRITE down their goals, work for people who do". It works. Here are a few more tips: have goals in a visible place, put a deadline date on them, focus on what you have to do to meet your goal and not the goal itself, make it achievable and reframe or lower your goal if necessary. It's your game so you can make the rules and change them whenever you want. If you don't have a clue as to what is realistic, guess. You NEED to have goals. Ps) I apologize for past, current, and future typos/misspells.

Learning to read labels, portion size and moving everyday lead to our success. Our children need to be given the "tools" to succeed - we spent time reading labels in the grocery store and I created a kit for my daughter to help her with measurements and reading labels. It worked and she still uses the kit and has maintained her weight for the past 3 years! We lost a total of 160lbs together and created a fit healthy lifestyle.

Today I realized that getting motivated is turning more and more into an excuse not to do something. My 4 year old daughter loves to point out that "the sun is setting in the western sky," just like in the book Goodnight Cowgirl. A few of my blog times have been interrupted as I have had an opportunity to teach, "no Zoe, the sun is rising, in the eastern sky." Day 5 went well and ended the challenge. But fear not. This is only because, as is common for most people, SUCCESS BREEDS SUCCESS. When we experience (feel, believe, witness) success, it motivates us to want more. Yes, I had embarked on a 10-day challenge, I have now turned it in to a 28 plus 5 day challenge.
