Many affiliate exercise with stereotypical associations encouraged or identified by sciences and society. Science, gyms, disease risk, aesthetic appeal, health and wellness, medicine, and the like. Yet it is less than often that people look at exercise as achieving a higher level of thought. Yes, I am talking about exercise philosophy. Now, I’m not saying people do not think, or that achieving a higher perspective of the self has no been present in the likeness of yoga or tai chi, but society does not associate exercise with experiencing deep thought.
My people...im back again from the twilight zone. I hope everyone has been well and sticking to their new years goals. THere are going to be some slips and falls of course. Never worry about these. The beauty in training and failing is, when you fail, you actually get better!

Its funny how life works sometimes. I often find that when looking for answers to a question or a problem I'm dealing with, life often sends me signs all over the place. That's been true for me this past week.
I recently read a post on Facebook written by IDEA Health and Fitness Association, which prompted this blog. The posted question was:“The biggest misconception about fitness professionals is…”As you can guess, the answers came flooding in… After reading all of the posts, I soon came to the conclusion that "We Are The Same Person" but we have made different choices! Let me explain!
Come on people! A favorite quote of mine, "people who don't WRITE down their goals, work for people who do". It works. Here are a few more tips: have goals in a visible place, put a deadline date on them, focus on what you have to do to meet your goal and not the goal itself, make it achievable and reframe or lower your goal if necessary. It's your game so you can make the rules and change them whenever you want. If you don't have a clue as to what is realistic, guess. You NEED to have goals.
Ps) I apologize for past, current, and future typos/misspells.
Learning to read labels, portion size and moving everyday lead to our success. Our children need to be given the "tools" to succeed - we spent time reading labels in the grocery store and I created a kit for my daughter to help her with measurements and reading labels. It worked and she still uses the kit and has maintained her weight for the past 3 years! We lost a total of 160lbs together and created a fit healthy lifestyle.

Something really hit home today and I really feel the need to share it. It seems like we as a society we are continuously looking for motivation in order accomplish a task or attempt someting new. Today I realized that getting motivated is turning more and more into an excuse not to do something. If we aren't motivated enough to do something we come up with anything to distract us form "getting motivated" in order to accomplish a task.
Are you facing a severe challenge? A hardship or crisis? Here is a movie heralding times of crisis as turning points to examine one's purpose, learn, evolve, and make changes for a better life. We have the power to change for the better, and if we act in alignment with universal patterns, to harness challenges as opportunities..we empower not only ourselves, but everyone around us. Each of us has the internal freedom to turn crisis into opportunity, to change our path for the better, to create anything we want.
