As a little girl, I envisioned myself as a prima ballerina! Although quite tall and gawky, I thought I was made to dance. I studied ballet at the very serious ballet school of Adelaide K. Hutton six days a week. At the age of 5 I was twrilling around the house in my full slip, my arms over my head, totally enthralled with the thrill of my graceful moves to the music. Every two years the Examiner from the Royal Academy of Ballet came all the way from England to our ballet school to give us an EXAMINATION and watch us perform our ballet syllabus where we were graded and judged.
Happy New Year!!If one of your goals for 2013 is to lose weight and/or tone that body, dancing should be on your list of activities to help you get there. I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve activities as much as I did. Salsa dancing is one of my favorite things to do and I certainly Salsa’d into the New Year 2 days ago! My feet and calves are still feeling it. Thank goodness I’m not too sore for JCF-ComboFit tonight.
