I am guilty of this, as many of other trainers are guilty of. Giving the generic reply. You know what I am talking about. When you receive a lead from a prospective client and you have the option to "reuse the last message." DON'T DO IT!!! Giving the generic reply makes you come off as non-genuine and not caring about the clients individual needs. Not everyone wants to have the latest P90x, Cross Fit, Insanity workout. They want to deal with a trainer that understands their needs and is able to provide training that works for them.

All the new phases of P90x, Insanity, Biggest Loser, Spartin Training, RushFit...People are flocking to these and just a flabbergasted by these new ways to exercise and they are so intense! I hate to break it too you, these have all been around for a while, it just took some people noticing. These are nothing more than just mixing up your workout with aerobic and anareobic movements, isometric/dynamic tension routines, martial arts, calisthenics, plyometrics.... so yeah anytime you are doing that, results will show (and vary).

This is a question that I've been recently pondering over and over in my head. Yesterday (Feb 2nd, 2011), I took the morning and early afternoon off from my career as a personal trainer. This eliminated 7-8 clients or sessions and left with me with one in the mid to late afternoon. Let me tell you: this left me feeling very energized and refreshed.
