Everybody get older. It’s a common experience and one that can be depressing to think about at times, but there’s no escaping it. There are, however, ways to age successfully, even into your 80’s and 90’s. Successful ageing is healthy ageing. It is possible for most of us to maintain a very high level of physical function throughout a long lifespan but we should be aware of what we’re up against.
Ahhh the glorious Owner title.. A blessing to those who know how to use it and a curse to those who crown themselves too early.I started out on the cursed side for sure! I left the gym I was working for in September of last year without a single client to follow me over to my new company.
If you go to a doctor you know a few things about their background: they have a college degree, an advanced degree, have passed exams both oral and written to be licensed, have a number of years of training beyond their medical school, (first an internship and then residency... which differ... a surgeon may be a resident seven years, a dermatologist two or three), and that after their training they will be required to re license and take continuing education as long as they practice.
We are living in a Results driven society.Everyone wants microwavable results.Quick.Fast.In a hurry.The problem is these results that they seek require long term effort.They are so wrapped up in purchasing the next new thing and forget to use basic fundamentals laws of health and wellness. They will trade sleep for an energy drink. They will trade a decent meal for an appetite suppressant.This is a crude wakeup call.You cant live like this forever!
