Some people are risk takers and some are not.  Research shows it's not just a behavour but a personality.  Are you a risk taker?  It appears that I am although I never would have considered I was.  My career in the fitness industry began in 1985 and through the years my personal accomplishments have been extremely rewarding.  Recently I decided to 'go for it' and open my own facility. Drink plenty of water every day.Take a multivitamin & fish oil supplement every day.Eat when you are hungry, stop when you are full.Focus on lean meats & veggies, nuts & seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar.Fad diets do not work. They may at first, but in the end, you'll gain the weight back and more. No diet will do what eating clean and healthy does.See last tip.

During the initial evaluation, some trainees tell me that they seem to be everything right in terms of their fitness, but they don’t have any effects. They tell me the stories of training for 90 minutes each and every day, seven days a week, faithfully sticking to their gym for years, starting their workouts at 5AM, because then, they have to go to work, sticking to exactly the same food, which they had established is good for them, not snacking in between the main meals. Yet, whenever they step on that scale (which they often do daily), the needle does not bulge!
